From Broken to Whole:
A 6-Month DBT Skills Journey to Reclaim Your Life and Vitality
A self-paced, comprehensive online course teaching you the exact DBT skills that transform emotional overwhelm into capability, shame into self-respect, and fractured relationships into genuine connection.
You know how to survive. It’s now time to learn to thrive.
Created by someone for whom this journey is personal.
Someone who knows what it’s like to feel emotionally out of control, and who today prides herself on being rooted, regulated, and self-nurturing.
Someone who also happens to be intensively trained in DBT and knows how to teach it in a way that actually lands.
You’re not broken. But you’ve been living like you are.
The shame that whispers you're fundamentally unfixable.
The emotions that come out of nowhere and feel too big, too fast, too overwhelming to handle.
The relationships that keep repeating the same painful patterns.
The feeling that everyone else has figured out how to be okay, and you're just... stuck in a draining and demoralizing loop.
Maybe you've been in therapy. Maybe you've tried everything. Maybe you're still trying. And maybe nothing has quite given you the practical tools to actually change how you respond to your emotions, your thoughts, your relationships, and yourself.
That's not a failure. That's a signal. Your nervous system needs real and practical behavioral skills to rewire the patterns that have kept you trapped until now.
That's where this course comes in.
What is DBT and why does it actually work?
DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) was originally developed for people in emotional crisis. People with suicidal ideation, severe emotion dysregulation, and relationship instability. It works because it's not about understanding your trauma better. It’s all about building skills to survive intense emotions and create a life worth living.
DBT is built on four core pillars:
Mindfulness: Experiencing the present moment without judgment or avoidance
Distress Tolerance: Surviving and getting through crisis without making it worse
Emotion Regulation: Understanding and managing intense feelings, as well as transmuting them into more positive ones
Interpersonal Effectiveness: Identifying your needs, setting boundaries, and building healthy relationships
This course teaches all four modules in a way that's accessible, actionable, and designed for someone like you: self-motivated, ready for change, and tired of just surviving.
About Me
Hi. I’m Nicole. And I get it.
I'm a licensed psychologist who specializes in DBT, psychodynamic therapy, compassion-building, and spiritual psychology.
I've worked with people in crisis on psychiatric inpatient units. I've sat in therapy rooms with people experiencing the exact pain you're experiencing right now. Teaching DBT skills has become a fluent language for me.
But I also know the journey out of patterns of emotion dysregulation intimately. I'm a highly sensitive person. I've struggled with emotion dysregulation, shame, fear, and and the belief that I was fundamentally broken due to these tendencies. I've lived the patterns I now help people break.
I approach healing as both a science (the clinical training) and an art (the intuitive, embodied work of genuine transformation). You're not learning DBT from someone who only knows it clinically. You're learning from someone who knows it in her bones. Someone who is radically genuine, relatable, and committed to teaching these skills in a way that actually lands.
What’s Inside: The Four Modules That Will Change Your Life
Mindfulness
Stop being hijacked by racing thoughts and emotions. Build the inner stillness you've been craving.
Mindfulness isn't about meditation or clearing your mind. It's about training your attention so you can notice what's happening right now, in your thoughts, your emotions, and your body, without being controlled by them.
This module teaches you practical mindfulness techniques that rewire your nervous system and give you the space to choose your response instead of reacting on autopilot.
What you'll get: Video lessons on present-moment awareness, practical guided exercises you can use daily, and homeworks to builds your mindfulness muscle.
Distress Tolerance
Survive your worst moments without sabotaging yourself. Get the crisis tools that actually work.
This is the module that saves lives.
Distress tolerance is about getting through intense moments, like shame spirals, relationship conflicts, emotional flooding, without impulsively acting in ways you'll regret.
You'll learn skills to self-soothe, distract wisely, and ride out the storm until it passes.
What you'll get: Crisis survival skills, self-soothing techniques, distraction strategies, fast-acting skills to change your body chemistry, and homework to build your resilience toolkit.
Emotion Regulation
Feel less like a prisoner of your emotions. Understand them. Influence them. Finally feel okay.
Most people think emotions just happen to them.
This module teaches you that emotions are information, and you can influence them.
You'll learn how to build positive experiences, identify your emotion vulnerabilities, and actively regulate your nervous system so you're not constantly in crisis mode.
What you'll get: The emotion regulation model, skills for building positive emotions daily, techniques for reducing emotion vulnerability, handouts for tracking your emotional patterns, homework that shifts your relationship with feelings.
Interpersonal Effectiveness
Stop abandoning yourself for connection. Learn to ask for what you need, set boundaries, and build relationships where you're actually safe.
If you have a trauma history, you probably struggle with relationships. Either seeking connection at any cost or pushing people away entirely.
This module teaches you how to ask for what you need, say no without guilt, and maintain relationships while respecting yourself.
What you'll get: Skills for assertiveness, boundary-setting techniques, strategies for handling rejection, relationship repair tools, and homework that helps you practice in real relationships.

Is This Course Right For You?
This course is for you if you:
✦ Are self-motivated and ready for real change (not just understanding, but action)
✦ Like homework and actionable steps — you want tools, not just theory
✦ Are tired of feeling ashamed, dysregulated, and broken
✦ Want to build healthier, more authentic relationships
✦ Are ready to move past your trauma stories and the behaviors they created
✦ Want to feel more love, more peace, more vitality in your life
✦ Are already in therapy and looking to deepen your work (this works beautifully adjunctively)
✦ Are willing to practice and commit to your own transformation
What success looks like: After 6 months, you have concrete skills you actually use. Your emotions feel more manageable. Your relationships are healthier. You feel more like yourself… capable, worthy, and genuinely okay.
This course is NOT for you if:
✦ You're looking for quick fixes or magic pills (this is real work)
✦ You're not willing to do homework and practice (skills don't stick without application)
✦ You're in active crisis and need immediate clinical support (please reach out to a crisis line or emergency services first)
What Becomes Possible After This Course
After 6 months of learning and practicing these skills, here's what changes:
You feel more like yourself. The shame quiets. You stop believing you're fundamentally broken. You realize you're not broken, but simply didn't have the skills yet.
Your emotions feel manageable. Intensity still comes, but you have tools to move through it without being destroyed by it. You can sit with big feelings without acting destructively.
Your relationships shift. You're no longer abandoning yourself for connection or pushing people away in fear. You can set boundaries. You can ask for what you need or say no. You can be genuinely intimate because you're not secretly terrified.
You feel more peace. Not because your life becomes perfect, but because you're no longer at war with yourself. Your nervous system settles. You sleep better. You feel okay more often.
You have agency. Instead of feeling like your emotions, your thoughts, and your circumstances happen to you, you realize you have choices. You have power. You can influence your own experience.
You want to be alive. That vitality comes back. Life doesn't feel like something you're just surviving, it becomes something you're willingly living.
Questions? I’ve got answers.
-
You're right. There are free DBT worksheets, courses, and resources out there. But knowing DBT exists and being able to actually apply it in your life are two very different things.
This course gives you:
Structured progression: You're not Googling random worksheets. You're following a logical progression that builds skills in the right order.
Compassionate and relatable teaching: You're learning from someone who not only knows DBT clinically but has lived the pain you're living. That changes everything about how it lands.
Accountability through homework: The homework isn't busywork. It's designed to make skills stick because you're practicing in real life, not just reading theory.
Lifetime access: You can revisit modules, homework, and skills anytime you need them.
Free resources are scattered. This is a system. And systems work.

No, certainly not in the same way, and it's not meant to be. This is skills training, not clinical treatment. But it's incredibly powerful alongside therapy. And for people who aren't in therapy, this gives you practical tools to manage emotion dysregulation and build a life worth living.
-
Perfect. This course amplifies your therapy work. DBT is designed to be taught in addition to individual therapy. The course gives you structured skills practice between sessions, which accelerates your progress.
-
This is self-paced. Most people dedicate 1-2 hours per week to video lessons, handouts, and homework. You decide your pace. Some people move through it in 6 months, Others take longer. You have lifetime access, so there's no rush.
-
DBT is different because it's not about insight, it's about present-focused skills. You can understand your trauma deeply and still not know how to regulate your emotions or set boundaries in real time. This course teaches you the how. And because it's taught by someone who understands both the clinical and personal side of this work, it lands differently.
