Heal what kept you small. Become who you were always meant to be.

Virtual therapy available across California.

You’ve been trying to hold it together.

You've spent so long trying to figure out what's wrong with you. Why relationships feel so hard. Why you can't stop replaying what you said, what they meant, whether you asked for too much or gave too little. Why you keep ending up in the same place no matter how much you understand about yourself intellectually. Why the self-help and the coping strategies and maybe even the previous therapy never quite touched the thing inside that actually needed to move.

You're not broken. You're not too much. You're not beyond help.

You are someone who feels deeply, thinks deeply, and has been carrying something heavy — probably for longer than you'd like to admit. And you're ready, finally, for something that actually goes deep enough to change it.
This is that place.

What’s possible when the work goes deep enough.

Not just feeling better, but actually becoming different.

The patterns that have run your relationships for years start to lose their grip. The voice that has told you for as long as you can remember that you are unworthy or unlovable begins to quiet. You stop abandoning yourself to keep the peace. You start to truly know that you are worthy of love. That you always were.

The depth, sensitivity, and intensity you've spent so long trying to manage? It becomes your greatest strength.

My Specialties

Who I work with:

I work with adults who are done with partial answers. People who are smart, self-aware, and genuinely motivated to change, but who have hit a wall that insight alone can't move.

People who are carrying complex trauma, deep shame, difficult relationship patterns, intense emotions that feel impossible to control, or complex clinical presentations that haven't responded to standard approaches.

People who have sometimes felt too complicated for the therapy they've tried. Who have left sessions feeling slightly more managed, but not actually more known.

People who are ready, even if scared, to go all the way in.

Why this work is different.

My approach is psychodynamic at its foundation, meaning we go beneath the surface. Not just what's happening now, but where it came from, what it's protecting, and what needs to shift at the root for something to genuinely change.

Woven into that foundation are DBT-informed skills, compassion-focused therapy, somatic approaches, mindfulness, and spirituality-based work if applicable. Every client gets an approach built specifically around who they are. Not a protocol. A relationship.

This is longer-term work. Real depth work doesn't happen in eight sessions, and I won't pretend otherwise. What it does do, when you're ready and willing to go there, is change things that have felt unchangeable your entire life.

A note on who I am.

I became a psychologist because I believe in something deeply: that every person is worthy of love. Not once they've healed enough, figured themselves out, or become someone easier to be around. Right now, exactly as they are.

That's not a therapeutic stance I adopted in graduate school. It's something I had to find my way to on my own.
I know what it is like to feel like your emotional needs are too big for the room. To spend years looking for love and safety in places that ultimately couldn't offer it. To not know your own needs because you spent so long focused on everyone else's. To carry the quiet, persistent belief that you are somehow too much and not enough at the same time. And to experience deep emotional pain as a result.

I also know what it is to do the work. To find, on the other side of a more than a decade-long healing journey, something I genuinely didn't expect: real self-love. Real boundaries. Real connection. A life that feels like mine.

That journey is not background context for my clinical work. It IS my clinical work.

What healing looks like:

✦ You stop carrying the shame that made you feel like you were “too much,” and start feeling comfortable being truly yourself.

You recognize old relationship patterns sooner and choose partners and friendships that feel safe, reciprocal, and supportive.

You actively regulate yourself when emotions get intense, instead of spiraling, shutting down, or feeling controlled by them.

You trust your needs and intuition, without constantly questioning if they are valid.

✦ You feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself, while building a life and relationships that feel nourishing to your soul.

What my clients are saying:

  • I came to Nicole carrying a lot — grief, chronic illness, a new ADHD diagnosis, and years of accumulated shame I hadn't yet named. What I found was a therapist whose somatic and compassion-based approach met me exactly where I was, and helped me do work I didn't know I needed. The shame work we did together genuinely changed my life, and feeling safe with Nicole to go there is a huge reason it was so effective. Her approach makes you feel truly seen and heard, rooted in both compassion and realism, and I grew leaps and bounds in my time with her.

  • “During a period where I was facing struggles with family and career, which resulted in anxiety and low self-esteem, I found Nicole and am so glad I did. Her approach along with her supportive and patient demeanor helped me take action to change my situation and gain my confidence back. I highly recommend Nicole to anyone who is feeling stuck and looking for a caring therapist.”
